240th Anniversary dinner, show

The Ashby 240th Anniversary Committee announces its dinner and a show planned for Saturday, April 28.

The dinner will be a buffet starting at 5:30 p.m. with turkey pot pie and all the fixings, cranberry sauce, salad and dessert. The show will be "Ashby … It's All About People," which will begin at 7 p.m.

The show will include John Mickola as the master of ceremonies, songs by Ashby singers, a performances by the Irish step dancers and students at Michell Goodwin's School of Dance, a Tribute to the Flag by the American Legion, and other events.

Tickets are limited. Tickets for both the dinner and the show will be $10 for those 13 and older; $8 for senior citizens, $6 for children between 6 and 12 and children under 6 are free.

Tickers for the show are $5 for adults and $1 for children and students.
