Oakmont wrestlers commended for first season's high results

In addition to all of the teams and student athletes recently honored at the Oakmont Booster Club's annual Winter Athletic Awards & Recognition Evening, the Booster Club would also like to recognize and commend the outstanding performances of Oakmont student athletes Dylan Billings, Cory Poissant, Jon Jacobs, David Gambone, Sean O'Toole, and Tim Poissant. The six competed on this year's cooperative wrestling team. Oakmont joined forces with both Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical and Fitchburg High schools and the tri-squad enjoyed a very successful first season. Sophomore sensation Dylan Billings earned Rookie of the Year honors, placing third in Sectionals, and competing at States.
