 | | "Pig Out" at the Townsend Public Library The Friends of the Townsend Public Library present "Pig Out on Reading with Farmer Minor & Daisy the Pig" at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in the Great Hall of Memorial Hall. During Daisy's visit, Farmer Minor will tell stories about Daisy and teach everyone about Daisy and her pampered porcine life and how she became a most famous pig. At the end of the program, following the Daisy Pledge, all will be able to pet Daisy and receive a pig stamp on their hands. Appropriate for all ages. Also, a "Pig Out on Reading" story time will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, in Room 2 of Memorial Hall. Enjoy hearing some pig stories and then do a pig-themed craft.
