Clean-up time
Roadside litter is a problem for all of us. It is unsafe as well as unsightly. Pictured is Lynne LeBlanc and daughter Victoria looking at roadside litter (two barbecue grills) in West Townsend recently. LeBlanc is organizing a roadside clean-up on Townsend's Earth Day, Saturday, April 28, from 8 to 10 a.m. on New Fitchburg Road, West Townsend. Everyone is asked to meet at the American Legion Hall, 458 Main St. (Route 119) by 8 a.m. There will be reflector vests to wear and you can bring your own work gloves or use the ones provided.
