Nancy I. Bisbee, 66 Enjoyed singing, dancing and going to parades

FITCHBURG - Nancy I. Bisbee, 66, of 9 Glen Ave., formerly of Ashby, died Friday, April 20, 2007, at home after a brief illness.

She was born in Ashburnham on Sept. 11, 1940, the daughter of the late William J. and Geneva (Harris) Bisbee.

She loved to sing and dance and hook rugs. She also loved going to parades.

Nancy is survived by four brothers, Donald A. Bisbee of Ashburnham, Kenneth E. Bisbee of Vancouver, Wash., Paul R. Bisbee of Baldwinville and David W. Bisbee of Williamsburg, Va.; five sisters, Priscilla M. Gariepy of Fitchburg, Pauline Wagner of Nova Scotia, G. Lillian Whitney of Ashby, Dorothy J. Munroe of Ashburnham, and Mary J. Capman of Gardner; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard A. Bisbee and William J. Bisbee, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Department of Mental Retardation, 435 Main St., Fitchburg, MA 01420 or the Diversified Visiting Nursing Association, 25 Tucker Lane, Leominster, MA 01453.

Lamoureux-Fletcher Community Funeral Home directed arrangements.
