Local acoustic artist John Nickerson will be performing at Dempsey's, 151 Clarendon St., Fitchburg at 9 p.m. Nickerson has been performing music for over 15 years and brings energy and skill to the stage, performing a very large variety of songs from the 1950s to today as well as original material. Classic Rock Band Evenpeak will be playing everything from the 50s to today's hits at Brickyard, Billiards and Beyond, 74 Maple St, Baldwinville at 9 p.m. Band members include JB, Paul Labrie, Fran Laford, Tiger Parker and newest member, Fran Brideau. The Brian Templeton Band will be performing two shows at The Gardner Ale House, 74 Parker St., Gardner as the Ale House continues its free Blues Concert Series. The shows will be at 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Templeton began as vocalist and songwriter for "The Radio Kings", recording three CD's while touring nonstop for five years before the band broke up. Touring Canada, Portugal, Italy and Scandinavia in the first half of the new millennium, Templeton went back in the studio to create his latest CD, "Bloozin", with a who's who of New England's best bluesmen including "Monster Mike Welch" and Kid Bangham (Fabulous Thunderbirds) on guitar, David Maxwell on piano, Greg Piccolo on Tenor Sax, Micheal 'Mudcat' Ward on Bass and Per Hanson on drums. Shot In the Dark will be performing at the American Graffitti Bar, 113 Summer Street, Lunenberg at 8:30 p.m. Lee Vee is an acoustic-pop singer-songwriter based in Leominster, who has released two CDs with the third currently in production. She also performs pop and country cover songs with her trio called "Shot In The Dark", including singer/guitarists Kevin Walsh and Dave Gaudet.
