Police: An accident

Ashburnham Police do not believe drive misconduct or drugs and alcohol were a factor in an accident that took a 18-wheel truck into the woods on Westminster Road near Oakmont High School on Monday, May 14, said Sgt. Robert Brennan. The driver of the truck appeared to misjudge the width of the bridge breaking the truck's fuel line and sending it 20 feet into the woods. The bridge remained closed until the Department of Public Works makes the necessary repairs.
