Overlook track teams scored well against Rutland and Prince middle schools

The Overlook Girls' and Boys' Track Teams ran against two teams Wednesday, May 9 - Rutland And Thomas Prince Middle School.

The girls' team beat each team, but lost to the combined teams of Rutland and Thomas Prince by a few points. Liz Langelier again dominated her two events - the shot put and the discus. Brittany Logan won the hurdles and scored in the 100 meter dash. Anna Porpora won the high jump and the relay team of Lahtinen, Phelps, Chaplin and Chisolm also won. Jennifer Burke and Krysta Zbikowski both scored in two events. Scoring in one event for the girls were Molly Mccormack, Brianna Baril and Whitney Chaplin. Also performing well for the girls were Colleen Mulligan, Sarah Morse, Jordan Goodall, Darcy Brown, Kerry Kupcinskas, Sadie Zbikowski, Nisa Mann, Emily Durkin, Meghan Horgan, Sarah Chicione, Lindsay Snyder, Jesse Maeder, Beth Romano, Morgan Taylor, Saraqh Macchia and Rachel Quaye.

The boys' track team easily beat the combined teams of Rutland and Thomas Prince Middle School. For the fourth time this year Dan O'Connell won three events. Also winning for the boys were Ben Gagne, Matt Mazyck, Jon Levesque, Mike Hiltz and the relay team of Hiltz, Murray, Gagne and Walsh. also scoring points for the boys were Christian Robichaud, Ian Moulton, Matt Pineault, Jean Luc Bergeron and Eric Lafferty. Also performing well for the boys were Derrick Andrews, Nick Charron, Brandon Alicea, Zach Mehegan, Joey Poirier, Josh Eisolinis, Justin Mcgeeny, Calvin Young, Richard Lowe, Cody Wallace, David Murray Raimon, Joe Divito, Drew Hachig, Colin Smith and Ben Wessels.
