J. Howard White, 91 Worked for R.G. LeTourneau/WABCO many years

WESTMINSTER - J. Howard White, 91, of 57 Turnpike Road, formerly of Marion, Ill. died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Templeton.

He was born in Marion, Ill., on Feb. 20, 1916, the son of the late George Thurman and Clara Alma (Campbell) White. Mr. White worked for RG. LeTourneau/WABCO as a heavy equipment mechanic for many years prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the American Standard Retired Employees.

Mr. White leaves three sons and one daughter, Ronald G. White of Westminster, Linda S. (White) Schroeder of Overland Park, Kan., Richard White of Fisherville, Tenn., and Randall S. White of Peoria, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Kirsten L. (Schroeder) Larsen, Tyson W. Schroeder, Jason A. White, Erica L (White) Patrikias, Jayme A. White, Riley E. White, Ross J. White; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, Edith Louise White, Violet Ruth White and Leslie Frank White all of Marion, Ill. He was the husband of the late Hazel B. (Romans) White. He was also predeceased by a granddaughter, Heidi Schroeder.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baldwinville Nursing Home Activity Fund, 51 Hospital Road, Templeton, MA 01436.
