Join Montachusett Opportunity Council (MOC) Elder Services for an evening of family fun and wrestling at 7:30 p.m. at the Leominster Knights of Columbus Hall, 484 Lancaster St. Feature matches include Leominster's own "Big Evil" Billy Whitten, former WWF Superstar/Hall of Famer "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas, the Puerto Rican Franchise Bert Centeno and Don Vega, along with more than a dozen others wrestlers. T-shirts and refreshments for sale, along with several raffles including Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots tickets. Westminster Boy Scout Troop 33 will hold their second annual Bottle and Can Drive from 9 a.m. to noon at Wine and Roses, in Westminster. The Westminster Historical Society will host their free Annual Perennial Swap from 9 a.m. to noon at the society house, 110 Main St., Westminster. How it works: As you divide your perennials save the extras and bring them to the swap, then take home someone else's extras. It's a great way to add new varieties to your garden. You may participate in the event, even if you don't have anything to swap. For information, call (978) 874-5569. First Church of Templeton, located on the common, will hold its annual Country Fair and Flea Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year's fair will feature a variety of attractions and events, including live entertainment by local performers, a bake sale, crafts, raffles, a blood pressure clinic, food, and a Community Food Drive, coordinated by the children of the church. Special children's events include the duck pluck and other games, and a kids' ID program by the Templeton Police. The highlight of the day for all area gardeners is sure to be the greenhouse. It'll be overflowing with a wide variety of locally grown vegetable and flower plants, ready just in time for planting. Classic car enthusiasts and historians alike won't want to miss the Classic Car Show by the Mid-State Antique Auto Club of Fitchburg from 10 a.m. to noon. And yard sale junkies won't want to miss out on the treasures that are sure to be found at the flea market. Kid Expo 2007 will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mount Wachusett Community College, 444 Green St., Gardner. Festivities include demonstrations, activities, performances, give-a-ways, and refreshments. 3 Held in partnership with the Molly Bish Institute for Child Health and Safety. The Christian Performing Arts Center's Youth Theatre Company, in collaboration with the North County Land Trust and the Fitchburg Art Museum, will present the environmental fable "Moonscape to Treescape" at 2 p.m. at the Fitchburg Art Museum, 185 Elm St. This whimsical drama, geared toward children of all ages, promises to enlighten, educate, and entertain. Although the play is presented at no charge, admission to the Fitchburg Art Museum is free to members and all children under 12; $7 for adults; and $5 for students and seniors. For information, call (978) 345-2915. SUNDAY The 12th Annual Fitchburg Community Lions Club "Walkin Dog-A-Thon" will be held at Coolidge Park, in Fitchburg. Proceeds to benefit the NEADS program. Xtreme Riders presents a Leukemia Ride & Family Barbecue today. The celebration will include a barbecue; entertainment featuring Nashville Star contestant Tim LaRoche, Fingercuff, Stillburnin' and Where's Edd; iinflatable amusements, children's games and crafts, a magic show, an exotic animal show, face painting, a pie-eating contest, raffles and prizes. Tickets are $20 in advance; $25 day of the event (children 12 and under are free). All proceeds to benefit the Andrew Helpful Hands Foundation, helping local families with children fighting cancer. Entry fee is $175 and includes lunch, golf and cart, dinner and raffle prizes. The tournament also features a silent auction, and hole-inone and closest-to-the-pin contests. Raffle prizes include golf clubs, a golf bag, a putter, and gift certificates to area restaurants. The auction will include Red Sox tickets, golf clubs, and two pairs of airline tickets from American Airlines.
