Oakmont's NHS inducts new members The following students were inducted into the Oakmont chapter of the National Honor Society this month. Jocelyn Baril, Julie Barrows, Gregory Beaudoin, Alyssa Christianson, Jessica Daigle, Jillian Davis, Desiree Demski-Hamelin, Emily Fan, Erin Foley, Christopher Fuller, Barbara Heins, Anika Hertel- Therrien, Kelsey Imig, Dillon Kendall, Christopher Louney, Haley Marshall, Daniel McDonald, Stephanie Nebes, David Plamondon, Lauren Reid, Jonathan Roger, Victoria Ryan, Caeli Scotland, Randi Swihart, Alex Tambling, Gabriela Tessitore, Suzy Trei, and Hannah Ulshen. Students can be inducted during the spring of their senior year if they have attained a 3.3 GPA or better. Those who are selected for membership must have exemplary character, a history of community service to school and towns, and exhibit outstanding leadership in the classroom, in co-curricular activities, and in their service activities. To remain a member of NHS, students must maintain the standards by which they were selected perform 20 hours of community service and participate in three chapter projects. |
