Lions induct new president

Larry Bennett was installed as the new president of the Ashburnham Lions Club at a special dinner meeting on Tuesday, June 12.

Other members accepting positions as officers were Ron Newman as vice president, Ron Reed as the treasurer and Mary Reed as the secretary.

Th Ashburnham Lions have two upcoming fundraisers. The Annual Silent Auction and Chicken BBQ to be held during Ashburnham Downtown Day on Saturday, June 30, and the Fourteenth Annual Westminster-Ashburnham Lions Golf Tournament to be held on Friday, July 13.
