Fitchburg Art Museum Announces Summer Classes

FITCHBURG - Nearly 40 classes, including summer art camps for children, will be presented by Fitchburg Art Museum this summer starting in July. TD Banknorth will sponsor two free workshops for families as part of the 72nd Regional Exhibition of Art and Craft, which opens Sunday, June 24.

"There will be art camps for children age 6 and up with a variety of themes including painting, sculpture, sewing, cartooning, drawing and printmaking," explains Studio Program Director Susan Dekant.

These are weeklong programs beginning July 9 through Aug. 17. Adult programs include yoga, dance, painting, drawing, gardening, writing, figure drawing, and printmaking. All classes are listed at fitchburgartmuseum.org, or call (978) 345-4207, Ext. 303.
