Dorothy F. (Caldwell) Guyon, 77
Worked for Digital Equipment Corp.; member of Friendship Club

WESTMINSTER - Dorothy F. (Caldwell) "Hawkins" Guyon, 77, of 9 Miles Ave., formerly of 5 Meetinghouse Road, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster, after an illness.

She was born in Ashburnham on Aug. 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret (Peterson) Caldwell. She was educated in Fitchburg Schools. She worked for Digital in Westminster and Augusta, Maine making computer circuit boards.

Mrs. Guyon was a member of the Westminster Friendship Club, a member of AA, and a former member of the West Fitchburg Methodist Church. She is survived by one son and his wife, Howard and Marie Hawkins of Old

Orchard Beach, Maine; one daughter, Marsha Bentley of Westminster; six grandchildren, Kurt Bentley and Ian Bentley both of Westminster, Henry Hawkins of Massachusetts, Bonnie Stone of Baldwinville, Brian Ercaloni of Old Orchard Beach, and Brenda Blood of Westminster; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Caldwell Jr. and Robie Caldwell both of Fitchburg; three sisters, Shirley Boucher of Norton, Irodell Johnson of Fitchburg, and Nancy Cardinal of Leominster; one brother-in-law, Father Douglas Hawkins of Vermont; one sister-in-law, Edith Taylor of New Hampshire; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends at the Wellington and Ashley Court. She was the wife of the late John Hawkins who died Dec. 30, 1972.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes directed arrangements.
