DeJanne Ashmore, 10, works to build a deck for the Donation Garden with Terry Kennedy, the president of ARC and a member of the United Way Day of Caring organizational committee.

The committee helped build a deck and a ramp at Kim Blanchard's home on Gibson Road. The organic garden is going to feed members of the ARC organization, who are also doing the work. The ramp and the deck that committee built on Friday, July 6, is designed to help the gardeners easier access to the facility.
