Flea Market to raise money for Scouting Center

A Flea Market will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15, at the Route 12 Turn-off (just before Hunter Avenue), Ashburnham. Over 20 tables to include but not limited to craft supplies, small furniture, CDs, video tapes, household items, sports equipment, holiday items, knick-knacks, books, dishes, candles and lots of odds and ends. Proceeds to benefit the William J. Bresnahan Scouting & Community Center, Ashburnham. The goal of the William J. Bresnahan Scouting and Community Memorial Park Committee is to revitalize the area to provide a place for families to go to relax and enjoy the natural area. Fundraising efforts will be used to remove the existing Boy and Girl Scout buildings, restore the natural beauty of the park and construct a Community Center first for use by the Ashburnham Boy and Girl Scouts and secondly for the community.
