William G. Anderson, 57
Was extreme sports fan; loved trains

CHELMSFORD - William G. Anderson, 57, of 5 Singlefoot Road, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster Hospital, after being stricken ill.

He was born in Fairborn, Ohio on Aug. 17, 1949, the son of the late Lt. Col, Robert C. Anderson. He was a graduate of Bedford High School and attended the University of Hartford.

Mr. Anderson worked as a customer service representative in the computer industry.

He was an extreme sports fan, especially when it came to the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He was an usher for the Pat's several years ago. He also loved trains and was a member of the Westford Railroad Club.

He leaves his mother, Genevieve G. (Ganley) Anderson of Westminster and St. Pete Beach, Fla.; his wife of eight years, Sandra Coluchi; one daughter, Michelle L. Anderson of Watertown; one brother, Robert C. Anderson, Jr. of Walpole, N.H.; two sisters, Dr. Judith Anderson of Lafayette, Ind., and Jean Keena of Westminster; and two nieces and three nephews. He was also a long-time friend of Bill Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in William's name to the Westminster Rescue Fund, P.O. Box 640, Westminster, MA 01473.

The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home directed arrangements.
