State Sen. Stephen Brewer (D-Barre) full-filled a promise on Thursday, July 12, as he wheeled former Selectman Ronald Reed down the street in the Page Beach area of town after the completion of the project to install a water main in that part of town. Brewer and Reed made the agreement years ago when the project was having trouble getting off the ground. The water line was installed through federal grants after residents suffered through many years of frozen pipes and low water pressure throughout the winters. COURTESY PHOTO
