A new way to recycle

Ashburnham Municipal Light Plant Manager Stan Herriot has decided to participate in the recycling program for low energy light bulbs. The recycling program was started, by an outside company, because the bulbs have a trace amount of mercury in them. The mercury is equvalivent to a tenth of what is in an "old-fashion" thermometer. Harriot shows one of the light bulbs, which are being collected, and the bucket where residents can recycle them. The light plant has been giving out the light bulbs for a few years.
