Academic achievements Ashburnham's Bethany Lynne Bourgault, was among those awarded degrees during Salve Regina University's 57th commencement held Sunday, May 13. Bourgault earned a Master of Science in administration of justice. Dean's list honors for Kerr Westminster resident Ian Kerr, a senior, at Salve Regina University was named to the dean's list for the spring 2007 semester. To be eligible for the dean's list, full-time students must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.6 with no grade below a "B" in that semester. Shedd earns high honors Ashburnham resident Martin Shedd, a senior at Northfield Mount Hermon School, earned academic high honors for the spring term at the independent boarding school in Mount Hermon. Ashburnham resident graduates cum laude Caitlin Powers Reck, of Ashburnham, graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a bachelor of arts in psychology and education. Reck also earned her Massachusetts teach license in elementary education. She is the daughter of Dr. Donna Decker, of Ashburnham, and Jeff Reck, of Fitchburg. Comcast honors Ciota with scholarship Daniel Ciota, of Westminster, was among five local students recognized as a Comcast Leader and Achiever scholarship recipient recently. Daniel is a graduate of North Central Charter Essential High School and will attend Hampshire College in Amherst in the Fall. |
