Westminster Senior Calendar

The Westminster Senior Center is open Monday through Friday 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4 p.m. and is located in the American Legion Hall, 127 Main St. For more information, call Susan Fisher at (978) 874-7402.

A minimum of 24-hour advanced notice is necessary to reserve seating on the Council on Aging curb-to-curb van service. The COA has two shopping days a week - the Mall at Whitney Field on Tuesday afternoons and to Gardner on Thursday mornings.

The Westminster Council on Aging Board members meet on the third of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the Senior Center. The Council on Aging Board members and the Selectmen have been discussing the future of a new senior center. If you would like to be in on the discussions you are welcome to join the meetings. The future sites of a new senior center which is only in the early stages, the town would need to do a feasible study on the old Town Hall and 69 West Main St. All meetings are open to the public.
