Special election information

The town will hold a special election on Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Westminster Elementary School between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. The sole question on the ballot will be whether to raise the tax levy limit to allow for $492,459 in additional money for the schools.

Absentee ballots must be requested by noon on Aug. 13 and are available through the Town Clerk's Office in the Town Hall on South Street or by calling (978) 827- 4104.
