Jeannette (LeBlanc) Caron, 73
She was born in Fitchburg on Oct. 23, 1923, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Arsenault) LeBlanc. She attended St. Joseph's and B.F. Brown schools. Mrs. Caron and her husband owned and operated Ralph's Diner in Ashburnham for 25 years. Jenny enjoyed the Thursday Card Party's with her friends. She was the wife of 40 years to the late Ralph Caron, Jr. who died April 10, 2001. Jenny leaves two sons, Ralph Caron III of Las Vegas, Nev. and Bruce Caron of Gardner; three daughters, Nadine Nuss of Kansas City, Mo., Lisa Rosin of Hawaii, and Paula Nicholson of Westminster; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, John LeBlanc of Arizona and Ovila "Tash" LeBlanc of Fitchburg; four sisters Arline Russo of Leominster, Dorine Waskewicz of Fitchburg, Eva Desjardins of Fitchburg, and Margie Richardson of Leominster; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by five brothers, Laurie LeBlanc, Zoel LeBlanc, Henry LeBlanc, Leon LeBlanc and Clarence LeBlanc, and one sister Priscilla "Peanut" Williams. The funeral will be held Monday, Aug. 13, from the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 123 Main St., Westminster, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, 486 Clarendon St., Fitchburg. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Caron's name to the Westminster Fire Rescue Fund, P.O. Box 640, Westminster, MA 01473. |
