Was resident of Westminster; enjoyed spending time with family

WESTMINSTER - Juliette M. (Babineau) Roy, 90, of 43 Town Farm Road, died Aug. 9, 2007, at the Quabbin Valley Heathcare after an illness.

She was born in Fitchburg on Jan. 20, 1917, the daughter of the late Alphee J. and Alvida (Arsenault) Babineau. She was a graduate of Concord High School in Concord, N.H. and a graduate of Stevens Business College in Fitchburg. She was a long-time Fitchburg resident prior to moving to Westminster.

Juliette worked at the Fitchburg Savings Bank as a bookkeeper and as an office manager for the Community Auto Center in Fitchburg.

She was a long-time member of Immaculate Conception Church in Fitchburg, an avid card player, for many years being with her close friends, "Girls Club," and she loved spending time and being with her family.

Juliette leaves one son and daughter-in-law Robert and Catherine Roy of Sandwich, two daughters Anne Marie Roy and Paul Hendrickson of Westminster, Paulette M. Roy and Paul Rezendes of Athol, five brothers Francis Babineau of Fitchburg, Robert Babineau of Brewster, Normand Babineau of Fitchburg, Arthur Babineau of Nashua, N.H., J. Paul Babineau of Fitchburg, two sisters Irene Quintal of Fitchburg, and Lucille Gaudet of Marlboro, six grandchildren Mark Roy of Westminster, Erinn Roy of Fitchburg, Craig Pochini of Halifax, Canada, Brian Pochini of Ashburnham, Scott Pochini of Fitchburg, and Brandon Roy of Sandwich, two great-grandchildren Mark Roy and Cassandra Roy both of Westminster, and many nieces and nephews. She was the wife of 39 year to the late L. Paul Roy, who died in August 1984. She is predeceased by a brother Raymond Babineau and a sister Louise LeMay.
