Monty Tech to hold 13th annual golf tournament

Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School District's 13th annual Benefit Golf Tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 28, at Westminster Country Club.

Sponsored by the school's Business Education Enrichment Fund (B.E.E.F.), the event will start at 8:30 a.m. with registration. A continental breakfast at 9 a.m. will precede a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Social hour from 3 to 4 p.m. will be followed by a buffet dinner and awards.

A fee of $125 per person, or $450 for a foursome, includes continental breakfast, lunch, golf cart and buffet dinner.

Hole-in-one prizes and sponsors include: a $1,000,000 (hole TBA), sponsored by Monty Tech's Driver Education Program; a $10,000 on the tenth hole, sponsored by I.C. Federal Credit Union and Halstead Insurance Agency Inc., Fitchburg; a 2007 car on the ninth hole, sponsored by Salvadore Chevrolet & Oldsmobile, Gardner; and a 2007 car on the tweleth hole, sponsored by Chapdelaine Truck Center Inc., Lunenburg.

Proceeds will be used to fund student scholarships and services.
