One grape recipe for summertime

This recipe today is a winner that will have you going back for seconds, thirds and still craving some later on in the day. Put

bowlful out when you get company and watch it disappear. If you have an anti-fruit child, this may change that for good.

Don't let this time of year pass you by without getting yourself a bag of grapes the next time you're out shopping for groceries. A quick pick-me-up for those afternoon drag times, grapes are good for you and fun to have around. If fruit has a personality,

figure grapes are the little smiles we all have inside just waiting to come out. You can't possibly get upset with someone if you pop a grape in your mouth. They are little balls of joy, so grab yourself some, try this recipe and let me know if it doesn't bring a smile to your face.
GRAPES OF JOY
3 lbs seedless grapes (I like to use red,
blue and green for this.)
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar (You can adjust
this to your own taste.)
8 oz sour cream
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
optional but great in this recipe
1/2 to 1 cup light brown sugar adjust
to taste

Wash and stem grapes then drain. In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, sour cream, cream cheese, and vanilla till smooth. Pour over grapes, mix till thoroughly combined. In separate bowl, mix nuts and brown sugar together. (I use the maximum amount of brown sugar, because I love the mix of the flavor with the sweetness and sour of the grapes.) Pour grape mixture into serving dish, sprinkle top with sugar and nut mixture. Chill and serve. Recipe may be halved. Keeps well in refrigerator for several days if it can last that long.
