Finnish Center to host annual marketplace The Finnish Center will host its annual Scandinavian Marketplace (TORI) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at Saima Park, 67 Scott Road, Fitchburg. A variety of vendors will offer unique gifts from Scandinavia, enticing visitors to start their Christmas shopping early. You will find jewelry, clothing, books, music and more. Beef stew, hot dogs, plenty of coffee and coffee bread (pulla), and delicious Arctic sundaes (vanilla ice cream topped with lingonberries) will be served. Accordion music will be performed by Veikko Honkala and Juhani Puutio. Held rain or shine, no admission free. For more information, call (978) 827-4387.
