Friendship Club to meet

The Westminster Seniors Friendship Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Senior Center in the American Legion Hall, Main Street. The program will feature Angela West, singer and vocalist. Meetings are open to seniors ages 55 years and older in Westminster and surrounding towns. For more information, call (978) 874-2445.

St. Edward's celebrates the season with festival

St. Edward the Confessor Church will celebrate its Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, on church grounds, 10 Church St. The festival will feature fried dough, chili, New England clam chowder, many food booths, an indoor flea market, baked goods, handmade crafts, children's games, a moon walk, face painting, hay rides, a cash raffle, a silent auction, and more. Historical society to host flea market

The Westminster Historical Society will host its annual Flea Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 110 Main St. Collectibles, household items, books, children's items, plants, furniture, etc.will be sold. Donations and or yard sale items are welcome at the house before Sept. 19. Volunteers are also needed on day of flea market. For more information, call Melody at (978) 874-2008.
