Alumni Association sponsors Sock Hop

Oakmont Regional High School's newly established Alumni Association will hold its first fundraiser during Homecoming Weekend.

On Friday, Oct. 5, a Sock Hop & Social will be held at 8:30 p.m. following the football game where the Spartans will take on Holy Name High School's Napoleons. The Sock Hop will run from 8:30 to 11 p.m. Tickets will be on sale that evening at a special table before the game. Admission to the football game is free for alumni who purchase Sock Hop tickets.

The Sock Hop & Social will be held in the Old Gymnasium. Dozens of banners hang on the walls, reminders of victorious teams in many sports over the past 45 years.

Everyone will be welcome to dance to music from the 60s, 70s and 80s, played by a DJ. Although in the "old days." Refreshments will be available.

All are welcome to attend this event, especially alumni.

A registration table will be set up at the entrance to the gym for all graduates to register for the Alumni Association.
