Was native of Fitchburg; worked for paper mill
FITCHBURG - Robert J. Henault Sr., 79, of Fitchburg, died Sunday morning Sept. 16, 2007, at Bay State Medical Center, Springfield, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Fitchburg, the youngest son of Ephraim and Diana (Barrette) Henault and lived in Fitchburg all of his life. After working 38 years for Crocker Technical Papers (formerly Crocker Burbank, Weyerhauser) he retired in 1990.
He was a member and 4th Degree Knight at the Knights of Columbus Joseph P. Keating Council #99 in Fitchburg. He was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church.
Mr. Henault is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Arlene M. Maloney; his son, Scott E. and his wife Stephanie Henault of Lunenburg; his three daughters, Kathryn L. and her husband, Edmond Guilmette of East Longmeadow, Lynne M. and her husband Peter Courtemanche of Westminster, Barbara A. and her husband David Quail of Monroe, Ga., and his daughter in-law, Denise M. (Melanson) Henault Mulloy. His son, Robert J. "Skip" Henault Jr., died in 1982. He was also survived by his brother, Benjamin Henault of New Ipswich, N.H., his two sisters, Constance Cote and Marguerite St. Cyr both living in Fitchburg; 14 grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by four brothers, Albert, Herman, Edmund, and Lawrence Henault.
