Free presentation on The Climate Project to be held
      Nick d'Arbeloff, one of the thousand people trained by former Vice President Al Gore to educate audiences about the science underlying global climate change, will give a free presentation at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Westminster Country Club, 51 Ellis Road, Westminster.

Upton Building may soon belong to Historical Society

      The Upton Building is one step closer to being turned over to the Westminster Historical Society for an educational facility. The School Committee reaffirmed an April 2002 vote on Tuesday to turn the building back over to the town, who has a pending purchase-andsale agreement with the town.

Senior center may be taking steps forward
