Practice time

Westminster firefighters have trained in two live burns over the course of the last month to help them with their training. Westminster Fire Captain Kevin Nivala said the goal is to work the full-time, part-time and call firefighters up to do live burn scenario training through their monthly training exercises throughout the year. The firefighters set up a live burn facility in Gardner to recreate specific situations that might be encountered during an actual fire.
