Benefit to help Ashburnham resident A benefit fund-raiser will be held for Pamela (Gould) Smith from 7 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Gardner Fish and Gun Club, 538 Clark St., Gardner. Smith is a resident of Ashburnham, a mother of two, and a grandmother of three. This benefit is designed to assist with ongoing medical treatments for cancer. Music will be provided by Monkeyfist and the buffet dinner is provided by Joseph's Bistro of Westminster. In addition to door prizes there are many items to be given away including two tickets for the Patriots vs. Eagles game on Nov. 25, at Foxboro, Bose multi-media speakers, a free massage from Christina Quinn of Dr. Linda Smith & Associates in Westminster, free event planning from Lisa Campbell of In Any Event, and free carpet cleaning from Dave's Carpet Cleaning. Raffle prizes and cash donations have also been generously donated from American Biomedical, John Spuria & Sons Inc., MJS Metals, Shooters Billiards, American Harley Davidson, Brickyard Billiards & Beyond, Jean's Country Curl, The Gardner Ale House, George's Fine Jewelry, Pete Giammalvo Racing, Girardis Distributors LLC, Mr. Mike's, Wine and Roses, Randy's Automotive, and other fine restaurants and local businesses.
