Fee is just another tax

To the Editor:

I just received my letter from Dr. Michael Zapantis stating that I now owe $60 for an activity fee regardless of whether or not he partakes in an activity.

This is outrageous. I can see charging fees for sports, clubs, etc if it a student partakes, but this blanket fee is a backdoor tax no one outside of the school department decided on. I hope I am not the only one who will refuse to stand up to this crowd that can't understand the word "no."
