Four students honored nationally for PSAT scores

Four Oakmont students were named as Commended Students in the 2008 National Merit Scholarship Program by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

The four seniors, Emily Fan, Christopher Louney, Kelsey Imig and Suzy Trei, are some of about 34,000 students across the nation who placed in the top 5 percent of the students who took the 2006 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).

More than 1.4 million students took the PSAT test. The four students will receive Letters of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).
