Westminster resident Nisa Mann, an eighth grader at Overlook Middle School, accumulated year end points over the equestrian show season to place well.
Mann is the 2007 Short Stirrup Equitation Champion in the New Hampshire Hunter Jumper Association. She also placed third in the Hunter Division of the association with her horse, Never Say Never.
She placed well in competition at the Vermont Summer Festival.
As the year continues Mann plans to compete at The Big E in Springfield, and she has qualified to compete in the 2007 Maine and New Hampshire Equitation and Medals Finals.
Mann is also an honors student at Overlook and a starter for the middle school's field hockey team.
Mann used to work with dressage trainer Tammy Barton of Holden and now works with her current hunter/jumper trainer, Andrea Oxier of Sunapee, NH.
