Women's softball event Friday

The Lassie League women's softball league is holding its second annual fundraising event on Friday, Oct. 12. Proceeds will be targeted to maintaining and upgrading the Lassie League fields.

The event will be held at the Franco American Veterans hall in Leominster at 7 p.m. The event includes a DJ and raffles. Tickets are available for $5 donations at the door, or in advance by calling (978) 660-8256.
