A new sign for history

Members of the Ashburnham Historical Society hung the new sign in front of the group's Main Street Building on Wednesday, Sept. 26. The Society is starting to raise money to restore the Meeting House at 79 Main St. The society is hosting an auction on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sallie Thoma's Thoma Travel, at 171 Willard Road. Tickets are $15 for non-members and $10 for members, with wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres included in the cost. The society is looking for donations of antiques, fine collectables, quality items and services.
