Circle of Artists prepare for art exhibition

The Circle of Artists is planning their second annual art exhibition on Saturday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Westminster American Legion Building, 127 Main St., Westminster. An opening reception will be held on Nov. 3, offering music and refreshments.

Art work will be done by participants of the Circle of Artist, local Westminster artists, and senior art students from Oakmont Regional High School will be shown.

There will be two special exhibits of an interpretive piece done by the Circle of Artists members.

Another special exhibit will be two Cooperative Art pieces based on two famous paintings, one done by Monet and the other by Van Gogh. Each artist painted a 16- by 20-inch panel from the painting, and then these panels were put together to form a whole.
