LID Bylaw review meeting

The Ashburnham Low Impact Development Committee will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Team Room of the Overlook Middle School at 10 Oakmont Drive, Ashburnham. The Low Impact Development Committee is considering this bylaw to reduce flooding, water pollution and other problems that can damage the town's streams, lakes and water supplies.

The meeting will review a proposed bylaw to obtain recommendations from residents and Town Boards.

Enjoy a harvest supper at the Community Church

A Harvest Supper Buffet will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Ashburnham Community Church, located at Route 12 and Chapel Street). Turkey with all the fixings, mashed potatoes, winter squash, peas and onions, homemade pies, coffee, tea, and cider will be served. Tickets are $8 for adults; $5 for senior citizens (55+) and children ages 6 to 11 years old (children ages five and younger eat free. Reservations required by calling Brenda Brown at (978) 827-5492.

Rotary Club to host Comedy Night fundraiser

The Ashburnahm-Westminster Rotary Club will host a Comedy Night fundraiser at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Wachusett Mountain, 499 Mountain Road, Princeton.
