Brown inducted into Phi Eta Sigma

Heather Brown, daughter of Phil and Brenda Brown of Ashburnham, was inducted into Elmira College's Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society on Oct. 5. Inspired by the past and dedicated to the future, the Society's mission is to encourage and reward academic excellence among freshmen in institutions of higher learning. Those elected to membership include those who have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale at the end of any first year and rank in the upper 20 percent of their class.
