Applewild School Parents Association Rummage Sale will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Applewild School, 120 Prospect St., Fitchburg. The sale offers a huge selection of clothing, outerwear, shoes for infants, children and adults, and a variety of sports equipment, toys, household goods, books, games and holiday decorations. The Thayer Symphony Orchestra of Leominster will host its Gala Opening Concert at 8 p.m. at the Stratos G. Proceeds from the event will benefit scholarship funds established in Bob Wilson's memory.
