      The members of Beth Foster's kindergarten class stood by the fire engine at the Westminster Fire Station during a field trip from Meetinghouse School. The trip to the fire station is part of a multi-year program with the fire department to teach students about fire safety.

      Top story: The Board of Trustees met to briefly to discuss the planning for the upcoming renovation project. The board decided to go with an asphalt shingle roof that will look like the slate roof, which is on the front of the original building.
