COMMUNITY NOTES
Artisan Fair features local artists and craftspeople

WAVE (Westminster Ashburnham Value Education) will host its sixth annual Artisan Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Westminster Elementary School. The fair features many local artists and craftspeople. It is a great opportunity to find unique hand made gifts for the holidays and treasures to feather your nest. In addition, purchases support local talent and economy. Items available include jewelry, pottery, folk art, photography, furniture, shaker boxes, tole painting, fun fleece hats, wreaths, apparel, purses, stationary, paintings and much more. There is no admission charge.

There will be musical entertainment throughout the day as well as homemade soups and stews. The fair is a fundraiser for WAVE, a non-profit foundation that funds grants for educational and cultural projects in the two towns. For information, call Beth D'Onfro (978) 874-5861.
