Applewild soccer undefeated

On an overcast, drizzly day the Varsity Boys Soccer team of Applewild School in Fitchburg beat St. Peter Central School of Worcester, 5-0.

To maintain their undefeated season, the Hawks were buoyed by goals from Tom Stone, of Groton; Taylor Roche, of Wilton, NH; Brandon Keleman, of Westminster; Devin Carroll, of Lunenburg; and Marcus Rupelt, of Fitchburg.

Rushi Thaker, of Templeton, turned aside four shots as Applewild's defense, anchored by Gary Lorden, of Townsend, and Adam Ting, of Groton, kept St. Peters from mounting many threats.
