Sunday, Nov. 18

"Futurestars," a concert for young up-and-coming bands, returns to The Bull Run, Rt. 2A, Shirley. Beginning at 4 p.m. the afternoon lineup includes local youth bands Exequor, Inertia, Moments Notice, Road-Side Fire, Royal Flip and Strikes of Dawn. "Futurestars" is a way for musicians under 18 to perform on a big stage with a top-notch sound system in an all-ages concert. Each band will play 30-minute sets. Tickets are only $10 in advance, $15 day of show. Tickets are available from all of the bands, as well as from The Bull Run and City Music (in Leominster and Gardner.) This event is sponsored by Marc Rines of City Music with support from The Bull Run, Up-Side-Sound Studios, and Bedlampro.com. Proceeds from the show will benefit The Gardner Music Program.
