 | | COMMUNITY CHOICE Celebrate "An American Girls Holiday" You don't need to love American Girl Dolls to enjoy "An American Girls Holiday" from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Ashburnham Community Church, Main Street. Join in on the wonderful exploration of the historical time periods of a few of the girls from their perspective. There will be games, crafts, and stories from three different time periods. You are also invited to Samantha's Christmas Tea Time. During this event, participants will also be making and mailing packages to send to some of the service men and women serving in Iraq. Fitchburg High
School's Drama Club will present its 2007 All-School Play "The Wizard of Oz" at

The Annual North Leominster Rod & Gun Club Turkey Raffle Night will be
held from 7 to 10 p.m. at 1501 Lancaster Ave.,
Lunenburg. Door prizes will be awarded, along with
raffles and refreshments.

First Church of Templeton will hold a food drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to benefit the local food pantry. Bring non-perishable food items to the collection site in the church parking lot, located on Templeton Common, then visit inside to warm up
with a complimentary cup of coffee or juice. Call (978) 939-5973.
A Holiday Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fitchburg First Baptist Church, 1400 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg. The fair will feature Christmas
decorations, crafts, books, silent auction baskets, new and like new bargains,
and baked goods for the holiday table. Special feature will be lots of yarn,
Islandic and Reynolds, at bargain prices and their just published cookbook
"Feeding the Flock." Lunch served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

St. Anthony School will host a Country Christmas Fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the school, 123 Salem St., Fitchburg. Italian food and pastries, crafts, theme baskets, raffles and a kid's only room will be available.

A Holiday Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1200 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg. The fair will feature lunch, Nana's Bakery, a Country Store, food demonstrations, fresh evergreen wreaths and swags, berry and holly bundles, bird treats and house plants, a Silent Auction, jewelry, crafts, books, toys, attic treasures and angels.
A Scandinavian Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, 36 Charter Road,
Acton. The fair, an annual tradition, brings together a unique combination of activities, food, Scandinavian crystal, jewelry and linens.
A Holly Berry Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
at First Congregational
Church, 138 Main St., Westminster. The fair will feature homemade
pastry, a luncheon, a children's shopping room, gifts, baked goods, candy, RADA
cultlery, SERV items, jewelry, and a tag auction.
Applewild School will host an Open House from 1 to 3 p.m. at the school, 120 Prospect St., Fitchburg. Call (978) 342-6053, Ext. 110.
