Leger named to GNAC All- Conference Team

STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's College Senior Defender Jillian Leger, a Westminster native, was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference First Team on Sunday, Nov. 4. Leger, a two-year team captain, helped lead the Monks to a 16- 1-3 record and a third place finish in the team's first year in the GNAC. St. Joe's led the conference in goals allowed per game (.58/G) and shutouts 11), due in large part to Leger's defensive and leadership abilities. "Jillian will go down as one of the best players ever to play here at Saint Joseph's College," said Head Coach Michael Bolanz. "As a senior she was the best defender in the conference and will be sorely missed on the team next year."
