COMMUNITY NOTES All night winter parking ban Westminster Police remind drivers that town bylaw prohibit parking, or leaving an unattended vehicle, on any public way between Nov. 15 and April 15 inclusive between 10 p.m. and sunrise or at such other times as may interfere with removal of snow. The fines per incident are $25 for overnight parking and $125 for impeding snow removal (and/or towing of vehicle at owners expense). Cub Scouts to hold collection drive Westminster Cub Scout Pack 33 will hold a bottle and can drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Wine & Roses, located on Main Street. Please bring your empty redeemable containers to help boys aged 7 to 10 learn the values of Scouting. Commission seeks new members The Westminster Historical Commission is involved in the community's preservation planning process by identifying, describing and locating buildings, structures, objects, areas, burial grounds, landscape features and sites that are of historical, architectural, or archaeological importance to the community, the state, or the nation. The historical commission is looking for several new members to fill open positions. For more information, contact Mike Volmar at (978) 874-2645 or attend their next meeting.
