Lucien P. Michaud, 84
Worked for Foster Grant Co.; enjoyed camping

WESTMINSTER - Lucien P. Michaud, 84, of 43 Dean Hill Rd., died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, in Hillcrest Nursing Home, after an illness.

He was born on Feb. 15, 1923, in Quebec, Canada, the son of the late George and Blanche (Durette) Michaud. He lived in Fitchburg for 30 years and Florida for 12 years before moving to Westminster.

Mr. Michaud worked for the former Foster Grant Co. and enjoyed carpentry and camping.

He leaves his wife of 63 years, Simonne (Hamel) Michaud; three sons, Jacques Michaud of Westminster, Laurent Michaud of Philippines, and Richard Michaud of Hubbardston; two daughters, Lisette Andries of Westminster and Jacqueline Choquette of Leominster; three brothers, Jean-Baptiste, Maurice, and Leonce Michaud; many sisters, Adelaide Lepage and Lucience Ricard; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Michael and Marc Michaud, one daughter, Suzanne Michaud, four brothers, Romeo, Patrick, Wilfred, and Rene Michaud, and two sisters, Jean and Irene.

The funeral will be held Friday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg. Burial will be private.
